No apologies: Jimmy Kimmel reads mean tweets from outraged vaccine deniers

Last week, Jimmy Kimmel took aim at the anti-vaxxers, inviting some real doctors to make a PSA directed at those Hollywood parents who are “more scared of gluten than smallpox.”

From Uproxx:

Kimmel has an especially good reason to be concerned: His infant daughter was too young to be vaccinated until just recently, and several rich neighborhoods in LA have vaccination rates as low as South Sudan. If having unvaccinated people in close proximity to an infant doesn’t sound like a big deal, read about Dana McCaffery sometime. Then vaccinate your damn kids.

As is the case when conspiracy theorists and pseudoscience-believers feel insulted, the anti-vaxxers are in hysterics. They flooded the internet with tweets directed at the Kimmel segment, and the late night talk show host took the opportunity to read some of them on his show this week — followed up by another hilarious bit slamming vaccine deniers.
