Fox News priest: The Duggars were slandered by ‘secular’ media and should get their show back

On this Sunday’s Fox & Friends, guest commentator Father Jonathan Morris said that the Duggars shouldn’t lose their TLC show because they’re better role models than most other reality TV stars.

Although TLC has already pulled 19 Kids and Counting from its schedule, there are rumors that the network may continue with a spinoff that focuses on the newly-married Duggar sisters.

Morris conceded that it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to let Josh Duggar back on the show, but he slammed “secular headlines” that have made the Duggars characterized the Duggars as liars and apologists for molestation.

“I don’t think we can now say the whole family’s some sort of bad example,” Morris said. “Think of what’s on television right now. How about the Kardashians? Great examples? How about the real wives of Hollywood or New Jersey?”
