Martin Shkreli found out what happens when you pick a fight with Patton Oswalt on Twitter

“Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli seems to be enjoying his new hobby of trolling comedians on Twitter. But he may have bit off a little more than he can chew with his recent dust-up with Patton Oswalt.

Shkreli’s last attempt to chime in on a joke by Stephen Colbert ended in disaster. Responding to a Twitter meme Colbert shared slamming Shkreli’s shady business practices, the Pharma bro replied, “Suck a d*ck?”

“Depends, how much are you marking them up?” Colbert shot back. Twitter roared with approval in return.

Undaunted, Shkreli picked a fight with Oswalt this Monday after the comedian pushed the hashtag #TrumpCantSwim in a sarcastic commentary on how fast misinformation spreads, namely all the conspiracies circulating the Internet about Hillary Clinton’s alleged health problems.

From Uproxx:

Of course, this being the internet, within an hour or so, #TrumpCantSwim was the top trending hashtag on Twitter. One person who didn’t think it was so funny, however, was Shkreli, who tweeted an always reliable burn at Oswalt even though, really, the whole thing had nothing to do with him in the first place. Not that “having nothing to do with him” would stop a master level troll like Shkreli!

The ever-attentive Oswalt responded, and it was on from there.

Another Twitter user chimed in, fueling the fire a bit:
