Most of our Christmas traditions have very un-Christian origins

Yes, the “War on Christmas” is still a thing, and according to Adam Ruins Everything host Adam Conover, religious conservatives are actually defending traditions that are rooted in Paganism.

In a video uploaded to YouTube by truTV, Conover explains the origins of Christmas in a cartoon done in the style of Charles Schultz‘s Peanuts.

“The real story of the Holiday Season starts over 2,000 years ago during the Roman Empire,” Conover starts out.
