This amazing color footage from World War II gives an incredible perspective into history

Amazing color footage from WWII has been published by the Romano Archives, a website dedicated to restoring color film from the early 20th Century.

The film montage features Americans during the Battle of the Bulge, which was a major German offensive campaign towards the end of the war in 1945. The surprise attack caught allied forces off guard and was the costliest battle in terms of casualties for the United States.

The footage was posted to the Romano Archives’ new website Unknown WWII in Color, which features a wide variety of color footage from the pre-WWII and WWII era.
