Hannity Laments ‘Liberal’ Media Coverage of LAPD Murder Suspect (VIDEO)

The now infamous manifesto written by murder suspect and LAPD officer Chris Dorner contains some strange praises of certain media personalities like Chris Matthews, Piers Morgan, and Ellen DeGeneres. Fox host Sean Hannity commented on the fact that these details have gone largely unreported in the media, and claimed that if Dorner had been a fan of conservative TV/radio personalities, the liberal media would have had a field day.

Hannity went on to note how Dorner is an admirer of liberal politicians and celebrities and a huge critic of the NRA. “Don’t expect to hear much about this on liberal news outlets,” Hannity said, since Dorner is seemingly an avid viewer of networks like CNN and MSNBC. Hannity then brought on right wing icon and Media Research Center president Brent Bozell to give his analysis of the media’s lack of coverage of the manifesto.

Hannity: “If he read a book by a conservative author, Sean Hannity, Mark Levine, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, this would be big news. Because they would say, ‘ah, they inspired him’ because this has happened many times before, correct?”

Bozell: “You’ve got a direct association of liberal luminaries with this killer. This in no way is to suggest that in any way, any of these people should be held responsible for the awful stuff this guy’s doing. No one is suggesting that. But if we’re going to make that statement, how in the world do you put that alongside the pattern of these reporters on the left, who have connected the dots to conservatives in previous killings when there was no connections to conservatives?”

Hannity made sure to point out ABC’s Brian Ross and his widely criticized connection of Tea Party influences to the Aurora Colorado theater shooting. Bozell then said that the liberal media would not dare to draw conclusions in Dorner’s case, but nevertheless are always eager to pursue links between right-wing rhetoric and violence.

Why don’t Hannity and Bozell go back to reading their dog-eared copies of “The Turner Diaries?”
