Karl Rove’s Anti-Tea Party PAC Ignites Feud with Fox News Colleague, Mike Huckabee (VIDEO)

In probably the most notable example of certain GOP operatives strategically moving away from the far-right elements of their party, Fox News contributor and Republican strategist Karl Rove recently organized a group that will focus on protecting Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party activists.

Interestingly this has triggered a public feud with Rove’s Fox News colleague Mike Huckabee, who called Rove’s Conservative Victory Project “absolutely repulsive” and claimed in a February 8 interview on the Geraldo radio show that people like Rove are spending millions “to destroy a Republican that you don’t think is up to your country club level.”

Even though both are colleagues at Fox, Huckabee and Rove have had several public disagreements over the years in regards to the path the GOP should take in future elections.

Listen to more of Huckabee’s comments from the interview in the video below.
