Always a maker of moments, Ted Cruz elbows his wife in the face after ending campaign

Earlier this evening Ted Cruz announced the end of his campaign.

Cries of “No!” echoed from the devastated audience of supporters as their candidate delivered the bad news. All the while, his wife Heidi stood by his side and absorbed his words.

A few moments later she absorbed his fist, then his elbow directly in her face.

It was an accident.
