Anderson Cooper: Sean Spicer went from lying for a living to ‘lying recreationally’

Now that Sean Spicer is free from the White House, his lying is taking on a new form, or as CNN’s Anderson Cooper puts it, Spicer is lying “recreationally” now.

This Thursday on his show, Cooper played a clip of of Spicer being asked if he’s ever lied to the American people during his tenure as White House Press Secretary.

“I’ve not knowingly done anything to do that, no,” Spicer replied.

“That answer is so Washington, D.C., it should have its own reflecting pool,” Cooper said. “Just a nice, calm place where you can sit down with your word salad and think about what you’ve done.”

Cooper when ran through a list of Spicer’s lies, including the bogus claims of illegal voting that emanated from the Trump administration, as well as the fraudulent claims about crowd size at Trump’s inauguration.

“Sean Spicer doesn’t have to lie for a living anymore,” Cooper continued. “Now he just seems to be doing it recreationally.”
