This story will give a whole new meaning to the term, “a room with a view.”
Apparently the architect who designed the 25Hours Hotel Bikini in Berlin didn’t think privacy would be much of a concern for hotel visitors – considering that people walking below have a straight-shot visual right into the bathrooms.
From Metro:
The hotel, which offers great views of the Berlin Zoo, unfortunately also offers eagle-eyed pedestrians another natural sight if they look up.
Several passers-by on the street below have been taking snaps of the hapless toilet users, which has prompted the hotel to put up notices which read: ‘Please be careful, not only the monkeys are watching.’
Thankfully, it’s not the guests’ private bathrooms that are on display, it’s the bathroom at the hotel’s “Monkey Bar” restaurant. If you’re not an exhibitionist like the hotel’s architect, you’ll just have to hold it until you get back to your room.
