Christian radio show warns that the legend of Bigfoot is actually a Satanic conspiracy

During a discussion about the paranormal on the Janet Mefford Live radio show last Friday, host Janet Mefford and Tim Dailey (formerly of the notoriously anti-gay Family Research Coucil) delved into the topic of UFOs and other urban legends. According to them, these phenomena real, but they don’t involved extraterrestrial beings or mysterious creatures that have escaped scientific categorization. Could it be, Satan?

Discussing “the Bigfoot question,” Mefford asked Dailey what Christians should think about stories regarding Bigfoot sightings.

“It’s real. It’s a projection. It’s a demonic virtual reality, but it’s not nuts-and-bolts, in this case, flesh-and-blood creatures,” Dailey declared.

When asked why pictures of Bigfoot are never taken during the day, Dailey explained that Satan orchestrates Bigfoot sightings to take place after dark, making photographs difficult.

“The vast majority happen in the dead of night and you wonder, ‘Why is this?’ And then if you remember the biblical verse about the powers of darkness that love darkness rather than light,” Dailey said.

But why would Satan do this?

“It’s part of the devil’s modus operandi,” Dailey explained.

“[Satan] has always used this kind of phenomena to, once again destabilize, to engender fear, to open us up to the possibilities of other realities and other beings and then we begin getting involved with demonic spirits. So yeah, all through history there have been many, many different varieties of beings that are primarily spiritual beings that have terrorized civilizations and peoples and non-Christian cultures are very aware of this,” Dailey said.
