Donald Trump chose the worst day possible to fail at Twitter.

After Twitter users drew renewed attention to it, Trump thought he deleted a tweet that was still live from 2013 where he gave a questionable commemoration of the tragic day, extending his “best wishes” to “even the haters and losers” out there.

Apparently Trump administers shout-outs to people on national days of mourning, rather than humble condolences. Bizarre.

Even though Trump deleted the tweet, a retweet he made of the message is still up:
