Fox host corners Ted Cruz: ‘More people have jobs and health insurance under Obamacare’

“The fact checkers say you’re wrong,” Wallace started out.

Fox News host Chris Wallace gave Ted Cruz a tough time this Sunday, cornering the candidate on his claim that Obamacare has cost the nation jobs.

“The fact checkers say you’re wrong,” Wallace started out. “Since that law went into effect, the unemployment rate fell from 9.9% to 5% as 13 million new jobs were created, and 16.3 million people who were previously uninsured now have coverage.”

Cruz responded why questioning the fact checkers.

“Fact checkers are not fair and impartial,” Cruz claimed. “They are liberal editorial journalists. And they have made it their mission to defend Obamacare.”

“Wait…” Wallace interrupted. “There’s certainly no question that more people have jobs and more people health insurance.”

“Yes, there is question,” Cruz asserted. “The fact is from 2008 to today, we’ve seen economic growth of 1.2% on average.”

At Wallace pressed on, Cruz became visibly irritated.

“Chris, don’t interrupt me,” he snapped.

“But that’s changing the subject,” Wallace shot back.

I find Cruz pretending to care about single parents quite sickening. In fact I find Cruz pretending to care about anybody except his wealthy friends quite sickening. Shortened version, Cruz is a horrible man, and makes me feel distinctly queasy.

With no viable plan for any type of real leadership, Cruz does the politician thing and start throwing up false negatives and never offers any real solutions for any financial problems in this country.

So rather than call names based on an obvious hatred for a man you know nothing about, let’s think about what Obamacare HAS done. Nobody can argue that Obamacare HAS raised the cost of insurance for every working person. Nobody can argue that Obamacare has caused healthcare facilities to go out of business. Nobody can argue that Obamacare has even increased the cost of medical care. So.. thinking about these things, how could you possibly think that Obamacare is the cause of any job creation?

Unemployment is not 5%, we lost over 12 million people to the job force, Obama says he created 14 million jobs, but we should of had 21 million to stay up to all the kids out of school the last 7 years. 5% U3 unemployment is a farce, if we used the formula, Clinton and bush used unemployment would be 10%, and if you want real unemployment figures and use the formula under JIMMY CARTER unemployment is around 19%, we have over 90 million people between the ages of 18 and 65 that are NOT WORKING, for what ever reason, our government is corrupt and changes formulas to suite the media!
