Fox’s Neil Cavuto to Trump: ‘Fake news isn’t the problem — you’re the problem’

In a notable hit against a Republican president, Neil Cavuto of Fox News tore into President Trump over his scapegoating and refusal to take responsibility for the self-sabatoging governing style that has created a storm of scandal around the White House.

“Mr. President, it’s not the fake news media that’s your problem,” Cavuto said during a segment in his show this Tuesday. “It’s you. It’s not just your tweeting, it’s your scapegoating. It’s your refusal to see that sometimes you’re the one who’s feeding your own beast and acting beastly with your own guys.”

“Look at the critiques you’re now hearing from usually friendly and supportive allies as sort of like an intervention,” he continued. “Because firing off these angry missives and tweets risks your political discussion.”

Earlier that day, Trump took to Twitter and attacked the media for calling out his tweeting habits.

“The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media,” Trump tweeted. “They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out.”
