Franklin Graham: Democrats are trying to ‘erase’ everything Trump has done

In a post to his Facebook page this Thursday, evangelist Franklin Graham shared a link from right-wing commentator Todd Starnes, lamenting a bill put forward by Democrats that seeks to “ban Trump from being buried in Arlington National Cemetery.”

According Graham, Democrats are “compelled by hate” on their opposition to Donald Trump. “For four years they have been more concerned with trying to hurt former President Donald J. Trump than anything else—and they’re still at it,” he wrote.

“It’s obvious that there’s only one person they’re talking about here,” Graham continued. “They would like to literally and totally erase all the good that President Trump’s policies did for this country. It’s a shame.”

The bill, which doesn’t mention Trump by name, seeks to block any “twice impeached” president from basically any recognition on federal land, including barring federal funds from going toward building a dedicated “highway, park, subway, federal building, military installation, street, or other federal property” as well as preventing that president’s burial at Arlington.
