Glenn Beck: ‘If America accepts Steve Bannon in the White House, we are racist’

Discussing Donald Trump‘s victory in the 2016 election on his TV show Monday night, Glenn Beck, an avid anti-Trumper, focused on former Executive chairman of Breitbart turned chief strategist and senior adviser to Trump Steve Bannon.

In no uncertain terms, Beck declared that if America accepts Bannon in the White House, “then we are racist.”

“If you know Steve Bannon’s agenda and his vision of America, it’s not pretty,” Beck said.

When the question came up over whether or not Bannon is still connected to Breitbart, Beck replied, “He says he is. I wouldn’t believe it.”

“You just need to know that Breitbart is, and has been, state-run TV,” Beck said.

“And a pusher of the Alt-Right movement basically,” one of Beck’s staffers interjected. “That’s who’s your senior adviser to the president.”

“The guy who said, ‘We are the platform for the Alt-Right,” Beck clarified.

“Nobody is looking into it. Nobody really cares,” Beck continued.

“When people really understand what the alt-right is, this neo-nationalist, neo-Nazi, white supremacy idea that Bannon is pushing hard; I hope they wake up because, if not, we are racist. If that’s what we accept and we know it, then we are racist. I contend people don’t know what the Alt-Right is yet.”
