Glenn Beck weeps and tells crowd that Ted Cruz will get them through the Rapture

Image via breitbart.com

Conservative radio show host Glenn Beck gave a bizzare speech at a recent Ted Cruz, suggesting that the Republican senator will get America through the Rapture.

Beck, who has been campaigning for Cruz in South Carolina, called on Christians during a rally at Rick Joyner‘s MorningStar Fellowship Church to “fall to your knees and pray to God to reveal to you what the hour is.”

“This is your last call, America! Stand, stand with the man I believe was raised for this hour, Ted Cruz!”

The former Fox News host also spent a good half hour weeping and shouting at the crowd, while claiming that he accurately predicted the 9/11 attacks, the 2008 economic crisis and the supposed rise of the caliphate.

“I’m here as a fellow citizen,” Beck said. “And I’m begging you, please do not dismiss the peril we are in. Fall to your knees and pray to God to reveal to you what the hour is.”

“Ask our dear Lord to show you who the man is that has the integrity, who has the connection, who will fall to his knees at the Resolute Desk, who, before he acts, doesn’t think of a poll but looks to the Constitution and the holy scriptures; our Bible and the Constitution both come from God, they are both sacred scriptures!”

“I know there is a God. I testify to you that I see a storm coming,” he continued, saying that God has a plan to save this nation but it requires Christians to do everything they can to elect Cruz.”

    Glenn Becks has been Ruptured?

And how can Christian fundamentalist evangelicals ignore their own “inerrant” scripture from Matt 6:5-8 which says:
5“When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6“But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. 7“And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8“So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.”

May the Rapture come and take these people to their special “Heaven” so they will leave this world in peace.

    The Fletcher Memorial Home (Waters)

Take all your overgrown infants away somewhere
And build them a home, a little place of their own.
    The Fletcher Memorial
Home for Incurable Tyrants and Kings.

And they can appear to themselves every day
    On closed circuit T.V.
To make sure they’re still real.
It’s the only connection they feel.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, Reagan and Haig,
Mr. Begin and friend, Mrs. Thatcher, and Paisly,
    “Hello Maggie!”
    Mr. Brezhnev and party.
    “Scusi dov’è il bar?”
    The ghost of McCarthy,
    The memories of Nixon.
    “Who’s the bald chap?”
    “Good-bye!”
And now, adding colour, a group of anonymous latin-
    American meat packing glitterati.

Did they expect us to treat them with any respect?
They can polish their medals and sharpen their
Smiles, and amuse themselves playing games for awhile.
Boom boom, bang bang, lie down you’re dead.

Safe in the permanent gaze of a cold glass eye
    With their favorite toys
They’ll be good girls and boys
In the Fletcher Memorial Home for colonial
    Wasters of life and limb.

    Is everyone in?
Are you having a nice time?
Now the final solution can be applied.

I though Jesus was supposed to get ’em through the rapture. The thing Ted Cruz would do is nuke the desert ’till it glows and kick start Armageddon so the rapture would come.

The Constitution is sacred Scripture?! Does that include the part about slaves being counted as 3/5 of a person…?

My comment is 2 part. First, there were a number of negative comments by the lefy referring to How red Trump’s face got during the debate. Look how red Beck’s face is..,! Plus he is crying.
Second comment, In response to a previous remark that “Beck doesn’t believe a word that he is saying” If you know the Mormons you will realize that Beck knows JUST what he is doing and, yes, he believes what he is saying. He is making points.

If you are a Christian and you believe the teachings of the Seven Mountains of Dominionism then Cruz is your guy… For me I say , something’s not right with this guy, this crap is not in my Bible! I can see why Beck is drawn like a fly to the sticky paper here , he has somewhat odd views on religion also,,,

The evangelicals who believe in the Rapture supposedly believe that they will be lifted bodily to Heaven to sit at the throne of God, at the moment of the Rapture. So, then, Cruz, Beck, et al will not be going to Heaven then, right? Plus, the end of days is what these knuckleheads have been trying to cause, and have been praying for, for 2000 years. Why aren’t they rejoicing then? They must figure that they will be left behind.

Crux is not eligible for the position of POTUS or be a VP. Beck should read the Constitution, amendments, and relevant court cases. Here is what Cruz’s Harvard Constitutional Law Professor says about Cruz’s eligibility.

First, Glenn is a Mormon not a fundamentalist nor an Evangelical Christian. Second the Scripture tell you not to be ashamed of Christ in public. All the reference you posted is saying is what it says.Jesus prayed in public so your interpretation would not make sense. He was speaking in public when he said this. Your religion should be more than a public show, but a sincere devotion. The prayers that tend to change your life are not the show prayers, but the ones from the heart in your private time. Third, Christian Evangelicals and Fundamentalists are used by some interchangeably but represent different strains of Christianity http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/jesus/evangelicals/vs.html

As a long time listener to Beck, I can say that he did indeed predict the Caliphate, in fact you guys probably have an article poking fun of him. He was right. He did predict the economic collapse. He thought it would be even worse. It likely would have been if Bush did not take quick action. As for 9/11, a lot of people knew Bin Laden was after us, just not how or when. I don’t give him that one.

As for his theology, he is a good guy and a Christian, but has shall we say alternative theology that is not orthodox or fundamentalist.

Paranoid personality disorder (PPD) is a mental disorder characterized by paranoia and a pervasive, long-standing suspiciousness and generalized mistrust of others. Individuals with this personality disorder may be hypersensitive, easily feel slighted, and habitually relate to the world by vigilant scanning of the environment for clues or suggestions that may validate their fears or biases. Paranoid individuals are eager observers. They think they are in danger and look for signs and threats of that danger, potentially not appreciating other evidence.[1]

Well one very important point to make here is…. THE CONSTITUTION IS NOT I REPEAT NOT A RELIGIOUS DOCTRINE. The constitution does not even have the word God in it. I have said it before Glenn Beck for some reason seems to attract a cult like following, his speech resembles that of a cult leader ‘re affirming his absolute knowledge. This man is terrifying not because he is right, but because he is so wrong, yet so many believe. The tea party has incited a similar following of people who believe that any fact that can be proven, is nothing more than “information the government allows you to see”. My own father told me that college professors are wrong about what they teach, because he didn’t think of it. He claimed that everything taught is only the teachers idea not true facts that have been documented through history. He (my father) is a Trump supporter. It is a farse and these men should not be allowed to spread outright lies and deceit, to further their beliefs. This kind of false propaganda is what is wrong with our country, not Muslims, not mexicans, not blacks, not the homeless, not the liberals, not even conservatives on General. It is the leaders that are preying on ignorance, hate, fear, and greed, to get ahead.

Glen.. this is the Lord. You’re over doing it. And Cruz is NOT my pick. If he were, I wouldn’t have had the Trumpanzee win 3 of the first 4 primaries/caucuses. And I did NOT write the Constitution, either. And quit selling that survival crap to people. It has too many preservatives. JC
