Howard Dean: ‘Jared Kushner will be indicted for money laundering’

In an MSNBC segment this Sunday, former Governor of Vermont and former DNC head Howard Dean said that he expects President Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner to be indicted in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

“You have a prosecutor who everybody on the Republican and the Democrat side believes is a straight shooter,” Dean said, referring to Mueller.

“Now, [Mueller] is playing a very serious hand here,” he continued. “He’s working his way up from the bottom, as he’s gonna continue to do. I think you’re going to eventually see either the Flynns are gonna plead guilty, or they’re going to … cooperate for some leniency. The next step is gonna be the Trump family itself.”

“I expect there’s a good likelihood Jared Kushner will be indicted for money laundering,” Dean said “And then we’re going to have to see how far this Russian business goes.”

“This is serious business. These people are undermining our democracy, and it appears to me that what [Mueller’s] investigating is whether the President of the United States engaged with a foreign power in order to get where he got. That’s a very serious matter for this country.”

Dean’s words come of the heels of an NBC News report that Mueller “has enough evidence” to charge Trump’s former national security adviser Mike Flynn.
