Idiot with a handgun and American flag crashes Texas school shooting scene: ‘Make American great again’

At least eight people have been killed and multiple others injured in a shooting this Friday morning at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas, according to various reports.

Law enforcement officials have announced that they have one suspect in custody and one other “person of interest” who is being detained.

As the crime scene was still unfolding, an unidentified man showed up to the school wearing a red Trump hat while carrying an American flag with a sidearm strapped to his waist. When he was confronted by reporters, he responded with some vague sentiments peppered with Trump campaign slogans.

“What was going through your head when you found out what was going on?” a reporter asked the man.

“Get to the school — make America great again,” the man replied.

“Why? By doing what? What was your plan of action?” the reporter pressed.

“Offering support,” the man replied. “Just, ‘God bless you all’ will go a long way right now for a lot of people.”

With that, the man walked off.

Another unidentified man was interviewed by reporters and slammed the armed flag toter as an “idiot.”

“We need prayers,” the man said. “This idiot is walking down the street with a damn pistol on his side when we just had kids get shot!”

“I’m a gun rights person — I have guns,” the man continued. “But this idiot is walking down here and saying he needs to make America great again. That’s not what America needs — America needs prayers. We don’t need this crap. I’m sorry — I believe in the Second Amendment … but this guy right here is walking into a crime scene with a pistol on him, and I hope [the cops] get him because this is a crime scene. This is an embarrassment.”

In a tweet this Friday morning, President Trump reiterated that there are plenty of prayers to go around.

“School shooting in Texas,” Trump tweeted. “Early reports not looking good. God bless all!”
