When televangelist Jim Bakker isn’t prepping his listeners for a doomsday scenario that never seems to come, he outright threatens violence if President Trump were to be impeached, as a clip highlighted by Right Wing Watch shows.
In May of 2017, Bakker warned that Christians will “come out of the shadows” if Trump is impeached and ignite a civil war in America.
“If it happens, there will be a civil war in the United States of America,” Bakker said back in May. “The Christians will finally come out of the shadows, because we are going to be shut up permanently if we’re not careful.”
“God says faith without works is dead,” he continued, speaking to a fellow preacher on the show. “We have to do things, God has been standing with me, and I don’t know about you, it’s time for preachers like you, you’ve been doing it, to stand up and shout out.”
