John McCain to Fox News reporter: ‘Why would you say something that stupid?’

John McCain, immersed in a growing feud with the President of the United States, had zero patience for the “stupid” question coming from a Fox News reporter this Tuesday.

While in the halls of the Senate, McCain was approached by Fox’s Peter Doocy, who questioned McCain about the “frayed” nature of his relationship with Trump.

“Has your relationship with the president frayed to the point that you are not going to support anything that he comes to you and asks for?” Doocy asked.

“Why would you say something that stupid?” McCain shot back, glaring at Doocy. “Why would you ask something that dumb? Huh?”

“My job as a United States senator, is a senator from Arizona which I was just re-elected to,” McCain continued. “You mean that I am somehow going to behave in a way that I’m going to block everything because of some personal disagreement?”

“That’s a dumb question,” McCain added before walking away.

This past Monday, McCain took a direct shot at the White House and Trump, slamming their “half-baked nationalism” during a speech after he received the Liberty Medal at a ceremony in Philadelphia. Firing back during a radio interview this Tuesday, Trump warned “at some point I fight back and it won’t be pretty.”
