Judge slams officers who brought half-naked woman into courtroom: ‘Am I in the Twilight Zone?’

A Louisville, Kentucky Metro Corrections judge blew her top this Friday morning when jail officials led an inmate into her courtroom who was seriously underdressed, seemingly not wearing any pants.

As soon as Judge Amber Wolf saw the humiliating condition the inmate was in, she lost her cool.

“What the hell is going on?” Wolf demanded.

According to the woman’s attorney, she had been held in county lockup for days but jailers “refused to give her pants and any kind of hygiene products that she needed.”

WDRB reports that the woman was being held for not completing a diversion program she was ordered to participate in, stemming from a 2014 theft charge.

“Am I in the Twilight Zone? What the hell is going on?” Wold asked.

Wolf took out her cell phone and called the director of Metro Corrections and asked him “why there is a female defendant standing in front of me with no pants on.”

What the hell is going on?” Wolf asked incredulously. “I’m holding her here until she is dressed appropriately to go back to jail. This is outrageous.”

After the woman was brought some clothes, Wolf told her apologetically, “This is not normal. I’ve never seen this happen,” adding that the treatment was “completely inhumane.”

“I’m sorry you had to go through this,” she told the woman.
