Londoner’s defiant interview is a masterclass on how we should respond to terrorism

A eye-witness to this Saturday’s terror attack in London gave an interview to BBC news, and it’s going viral for his defiant stance against Islamic terrorism.

From Esquire:

Richard Angell describes enjoying a gin and tonic with friends when the incident that has so far claimed seven lives and injured 50 occurred.

Describing the bravery of the police and ambulance services who may have saved his life, Angel insisted he wouldn’t be put off enjoying his life as normal by the ‘cowards’ who carried out the attack.

He joins the man fleeing the scene while protecting his pint as a symbol of London’s spirit at this dark time for the city.
