Mike Pence: I don’t believe the 2020 election was ‘stolen’

During an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) this Thursday, former Vice President Mike Pence was asked about former President Donald Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was “rigged” or “stolen.” In his response, Pence said while he did believe there were “irregularities,” he thought overall he made the right decision in certifying the election’s results.

“There were states across the country that conducted their elections outside of how the state legislatures had approved them,” Pence said. “And I truly believe that was properly reviewed in the courts and ultimately was passed on.”

“I know in my heart of hearts that on that day, we did our duty under the Constitution,” Pence said. “I did the right thing.”
