Missing the irony, Kellyanne Conway calls Bob Corker’s tweeting ‘irresponsible’

Loyal Trump surrogate and purveyor of “alternative facts,” Kellyanne Conway, finally admitted that politicians meting out personal feuds on Twitter is not the best thing for the country. But of course, she wasn’t referring to President Trump.

Conway was referring to a spat between Trump and Senator Bob Corker (R-TN), where Corker fired back at a series of tweets from Trump claiming the Tennessee Senator is retiring because he “begged” Trump for an endorsement, which Trump says he refused. Trump then took to Twitter this Sunday and chided Corker, saying he “didn’t have the guts” to run again.

“It’s a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning,” Corker tweeted.

Appearing on Fox & Friends Monday morning, Conway put the blame for the feud entirely on Corker.

“What a demeaning tweet at the president,” co-host Brian Kilmeade said at the outset of the segment.

“Well it is, and world leaders see that,” Conway replied. “I find tweets like this to be incredibly irresponsible.”

According to Conway, Corker wasn’t treating with President with the appropriate respect.

“It adds to the insulting that the mainstream media and the president’s detractors … to their ability and their cover to speak about the president of the United States in ways that no president should be talked about,” she continued.
