There’s definitely enough outrage to go around after it was revealed that evangelical Christian firebrand and anti-gay crusader Josh Duggar molested underage girls – including his own sisters – when he was a teenager.
Former talk show host and sometimes Fox News guest commentator Montel Williams is making his thoughts known on the matter, and he’s not holding back.
Taking to his Twitter account this week, Williams took direct aim at the rhetoric espoused by Duggar and the organization he was formerly the executive director for, the Family Research Council, which demonizes gays as being a “danger to children,” a claim rooted in early 20th Century hysteria for which there is absolutely zero evidence.
BREAKING: Josh Duggar, a world class bigot, admits sexually abusing young girls – has consistently stated that LGBT folks r danger to kids

Gosh, yet another anti-gay alleged “Christian” defender turns out to be a garden variety scumbag. https://t.co/C4gWWE0YnA — Montel Williams (@Montel_Williams) May 21, 2015
Sorry, Josh Duggar is a bigot, slimebag. Whole family is, and FRC is a scam. Yup, Gay people are the danger to kids? NOPE, JOSH DUGGAR IS

@Mulder24 when @joshduggar makes amends to the #lgbt community for his faux-Christian hypocrisy I’ll be pleased to do so. #Hypocrite — Montel Williams (@Montel_Williams) May 21, 2015

@BuzzFeedAndrew not pissed so much as incredulous. I resent his claims that gay people endanger kids given his past indiscretions. — Montel Williams (@Montel_Williams) May 21, 2015
The entire purpose of my rant about Josh Duggar is to illustrate a simple truth: Everything we judge we walk through. pic.twitter.com/da7cZ2SXI2

Usually when I stand up to hate, my Facebook graph is the opposite. Glad to see people standing for tolerance pic.twitter.com/PLWu0KwTom
