New NRA President Refers to the Civil War as ‘War of Northern Aggression’ in Rambling Speech (VIDEO)

The NRA’s new president has raised a few eyebrows with a speech he made at the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association’s annual meeting last June, which is now coming to light.

In the somewhat rambling speech, Jim Porter referred to the Civil War as the “war of Northern Aggression” and went on to call Barack Obama a “fake president” whose administration is operates on a doctrine of “anti-freedom.”

“The NRA was started, 1871, right here in New York state. It was started by some Yankee generals who didn’t like the way my southern boys had the ability to shoot in what we call the ‘War of Northern Aggression,’” Porter said.

Porter went on to say that the NRA remains a vital organization for civilians because “when they’re ready to fight tyranny, they’re ready to do it. […] Also, when they’re ready to fight tyranny, they have the wherewithal and the weapons to do it.”

Porter’s focus then turned to President Obama. “I get so sick and tired of all these people with this fake president that we got, who wants to say ‘he hasn’t done anything bad for gun owners.’ I say, let me tell you something that he’s done. His entire administration is anti-gun, anti-freedom, anti-Second Amendment.”

An act of desperation. They are on the run and very dangerous. They are willing to take the entire country down the road to Fascism and slave labor. They must be stopped by voting your best interest in EVERY election. It is they, who espouse Nazism for political and financial gain.

When people think you don’t hear them, they speak up louder. That’s what the NRA and the Tea Party is doing. So now they are screaming in desperation and frustration.

No surprises here! Just this morning on another forum I had a guy tell me that the wrong side won the civil war. According to him it was the South that stood for the Constitution and the rule of law and that the North illegally declared war on them because of that stance. Of course this whack job also maintains that this country has gone downhill ever since women were granted the right to vote and that we may yet save it if we return to the right way and strip them once again of that right and get them out of the government where they don’t belong.

I just don’t appreciate giving money to the very ones that are terrorizing our freedoms. To lobby and donate money to the very people who use this as a tool for funding their other agendas through the NRA is against all that I stand for. I will not give one penny to the vultures that bring these threats forth just to get donations from the very people who oppose them. As long as the NRA lobbies and gives them money, I will not join the NRA financially, but I do stand with you in the belief that the second ammendment is our God given right to defend ourselves against intruders. All people from all countries have this right as well. No law can stop you. You just have to be willing to die for that belief. And very few people will do this in that time. So to the NRA, I say to you, from all the silent supporters in America, “We Stand With You!”
