Obama mocks Trump for getting his Twitter taken away: ‘Can’t handle Twitter? You can’t handle nuclear codes’

During a Florida rally this Sunday, President Barack Obama mocked GOP nominee Donald Trump after news broke that his aides took away his Twitter during the final days of the election.

“Apparently his campaign has taken away his Twitter,” Obama said during the rally for Hillary Clinton.

“In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self control, they said, ‘We’re just going to take away your Twitter.’ Now, if somebody cant handle a Twitter account, they can’t handle the nuclear code,” Obama continued.

“If somebody starts tweeting at three-in-the-morning because SNL made fun of you, then you can’t handle the nuclear codes.”

According to the New York Times, Trump no longer tweets from his account. His aides have now taken over and are screening each tweet before it goes out.

Trump’s Twitter is noticeably more tame as of late.

During the rally, Obama said Trump is “uniquely unqualified” and “temperamentally unfit” to serve in the White House.

“I’ve been in this office now almost eight years and here’s what I can tell you,” Obama said.

“Who you are, what you are, does not change when you take office. It just magnifies who you are. It just shines a spotlight on who are you.”
