As it became apparent that the GOP’s healthcare plan was destined for failure, former President Obama’s spokesman took the opportunity to take a jab at House Speaker Paul Ryan and GOP lawmakers this Friday.
Posting to his Twitter account, Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis shared a photo of the day Obamacare passed seven years ago, showing a triumphant Obama hoisting his pugilistic fists in victory.

The image was tweeted out just has news broke that Republicans would pull their bill due to insufficient GOP votes. Lawmakers originally planned the vote to repeal and replace Obamacare to take place on Thursday – the anniversary of Obama signing it into law — before it was postponed until Friday where it was ultimately pulled.
During a press conference on Friday afternoon, Paul Ryan said that ObamaCare would remain the law of the land for the “foreseeable future.”
