After her scathing critique of capitalism at the SXSW conference this weekend, conservatives and moderates alike are a bit miffed with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Weighing in on her comments this Monday was evangelist and founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network Pat Robertson, who has no idea how a “bartender” from New York was able to rise to such an influential seat in politics.
Speaking at the conference on Saturday, AOC said that capitalism is “irredeemable.”
“Capitalism is an ideology of capital — the most important thing is the concentration of capital and to seek and maximize profit,” she said.
“Just as there’s all this fear mongering that government is going to take over every corporation and government is going to take over every business or every form of production, we should be scared right now because corporations have taken over our government,” she added.

AOC’s words had Robertson incensed.
“It’s a strange thing when a young woman with no particular education to speak of, who’s had career — I believe as a — what is it, a bartender?” Robertson said.
The simplest Google search would have informed Robertson that AOC graduated cum laude from Boston University with a degree in International Relations.
“She suddenly is making pronouncements about climate change, now she’s making a pronouncement about capitalism,” he continued. “And the thing is, the media is following her like she’s some guru from off Mount Olympus, and she just doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”
Robertson better be careful. In a second, AOC could make him go viral on Twitter.
