Pat Robertson has hit the psychic/medium jackpot. This means that he called upon a spirit or invisible entity to do his bidding, and the laws of nature coincidentally followed suit.
With Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast, Robertson held a prayer service on Monday and called upon his followers to pray to Jesus with the intention of diverting the storm and drive it “harmlessly into the Atlantic,” saving his television network’s studios in Virginia.
“I don’t want that thing to come in,” Robertson said in a video flagged by Right Wing Watch. “I don’t want it to hurt CBN, I don’t want it to tear up the beautiful campus,” Robertson said. “I don’t want it to tear these trees down, I don’t want to see any damage, I don’t want a bunch of glass flowing, and I don’t want [damage] all over this area that is counting on us to pray for them.”
Now that the storm has shifted south, it looks like Robertson’s broadcasting facilities will be spared, leaving North and South Carolina to bear the brunt of the storm’s power. On his 700 Club show this Wednesday, Robertson couldn’t have been more pleased.
“We’ve seen many, many, many prayers being answered,” Robertson said on another video published by Right Wing Watch.

“We prayed together in our staff a few days ago and asked the Lord to move that hurricane’s course away from this area and from what we gather right now, the storm track has shifted south of this area and we no longer are under the threat of a serious hurricane here … For that, I’m grateful,” he added.
Robertson reiterated that God “has answered our prayer.”
“All I can say is thank the Lord that we, at this point—sitting here with CBN, Regent University, and all the things we do here—has been spared once again and people have been praying. I hope you would pray—those of you in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, wherever you live—seek God and he is able to give you relief.”
