Putin on Trump’s Hunter Biden accusations: ‘I don’t see anything criminal’

Responding to President Trump’s comments on Hunter Biden’s alleged business contacts with Ukraine and Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he doesn’t see anything criminal, Reuters reports.

Trump used the last presidential debate to make the allegations once again, accusing Joe Biden and his son Hunter of engaging in unethical practices in Ukraine. Joe Biden has denied the accusations, saying they’re false.

Putin, making the remarks on Russian state TV this Sunday, struck a less friendly tone than usual towards Trump, refusing to buoy the Trump narrative.

“Yes, in Ukraine [Hunter Biden] had or maybe still has a business, I don’t know. It doesn’t concern us. It concerns the Americans and the Ukrainians,” Putin said.

“Yes, he had at least one company, which he practically headed up, and judging from everything he made good money. I don’t see anything criminal about this, at least we don’t know anything about this [being criminal],” Putin added.
