Some guy is replacing the faces of classic paintings with Mr. Bean

If you’re a true believer that nothing is sacred, then here’s a post for you.

Caricature artist Rodney Pike took some of history’s most famous portraits and committed a little art sacrilege by replacing the original subjects’ faces with those of none other than Rowan Atkinson, aka Mr. Bean.

Art lovers shouldn’t worry though. Pike’s retouchings are entirely digital.

Product of boredom, way too free much time on their hands and stupidity.

It must be a Brit. Who else in world would give a damn about “Mr. Bean”?

These are fantastic! Atkinson is a comedic genius! These show how much he is able to do with nothing more than facial expressions.

Apparently you are not familiar with how a creative mind works. This is the product of just such a mind and they are brand new works of art which make use of older artwork.

As for who other than the British cares about Mr. Bean aka Rowan Atkinson — that is easy to answer, anyone with a sense of humor. Contrary to popular belief in this country the British are very accomplished at comedy.
