Remember this hackers who claimed to have stolen user information from that infamous website for cheaters, AshleyMadison.com? Well, today they released some of the data they stole – a whole 10 gigabytes of it.
According to reports, the dump includes email addresses, user profiles, and credit card info — there’s no telling whose name might pop up.
Those who’ve downloaded the data from the dark web are already claiming to have found some salacious details that might interest the wider public. The release allegedly came in response to AM’s parent company Avid Life Media’s refusal submit to the hackers’ demand to take the site down.

The Hackers, calling themselves “The Impact Team,” said this in a statement:
We have explained the fraud, deceit, and stupidity of ALM and their members. Now everyone gets to see their data … Keep in mind the site is a scam with thousands of fake female profiles. See ashley madison fake profile lawsuit; 90-95% of actual users are male. Chances are your man signed up on the world’s biggest affair site, but never had one. He just tried to. If that distinction matters. …
Too bad for those men, they’re cheating dirtbags and deserve no such discretion. Too bad for ALM, you promised secrecy but didn’t deliver.…
Well lookie here…AM is actually scamming its users. But when you stop to think about the dynamics of their business model, it isn’t that surprising.
