These 24 people parked like jerks, but got a swift dose of beautiful karma

People who park like jerks are a scourge on society. That’s why they should be targeted and shamed at every opportunity.

Since we’re not always afforded this kind of satisfaction, the examples below will have to suffice for now.

Awesome and funny picture, but really ignorant opener from the author. If a conservative blog wrote, “That’s why they should be targeted and shamed at every opportunity,” there’d be a field day to be had.

I agree with most of these. But the one where a Wooden Structure was built around the “Car2Go” Smart-Car is misguided. These are Car Share vehicles, and you are not inconveniencing the *parker* of the vehicle in the least. You are inconveniencing the *next* potential user of the vehicle, who had nothing to do with the park job.

You assume facts not stipulated. To wit: The “parker” may not be finished using their car share time.

As a frequent Car2Go user, I can pretty confidently state that 99+% of rental end when the car is parked. Since you are charged per minute, you can continue renting the vehicle while parked (for about 25-30 cents a minute) but unless you are going to be away from the vehicle for just a few minutes, it quickly becomes cost prohibitive. And in the past year, I have never gotten the same Car2Go twice in a row, and I am talking maybe 75 rentals.

If someone had time to build a wooden structure around a Car2Go, I would bet many beers that it was not being held by the renter that parked it.

I can even say with some confidence that the Car2Go in question was probably rented by a frat-boy or girl at the UW, so they probably don’t have much extra cash to spend on a “Parked Car”, and they parked it at approximately 4535 17th Ave NE in Seattle, WA. I recognize both the License plate and the Area.

Either that, or it was in fact legally parked (appears that way from Google Street View) and some frat-boys were being the assholes that frat-boys frequently are, and were afraid that the poor car-share driver might scratch the new HS graduation present their daddies gave them. But you know, you can’t tell much from the picture… Aside from the glaring lack of an actual “No Parking” sign.

4th pic. If there are thousands of open spaces why do you care if the person takes 2?

The story of that one is the construction worker left specific inductions to people not to park behind his truck so he could work. I’ve seen this picture before, but it had the explanation with it.

When my car is nicer then yours and people like you with your shitty cars put dings in my BRAND NEW car…and there are LOTS Of parking spots…I’m going to park like I want. Actually it’s you that is being a d-bag when you are attempting to teach me some type of lesson.

Because parking lots with “thousands of places” can and do become full. Because it is the polite and appropriate thing to do. Because it serves as an example to those as clueless as you.

Please talk to a therapist about your obsessive need to work “frat boys” into your posts so you can randomly blame them. I’m sorry if you applied for a fraternity and didn’t get in, but you should probably just get over it and move on.

And when some douche bag parks across several spaces because they think they are better than someone else or deserve special treatment because they have a BRAND NEW car, then they absolutely deserve to be boxed in, shamed, or even keyed.

random mouse….what should I do when someone with a BRAND NEW car parks next to my nice “older” car and dings my door? please, don’t try to defend the defenseless. it just makes you look worse.

Feel free to park in two or more spaces in the furthest aisle from the destination associated with the parking lot. Unless of course, the lot is likely to fill up. Then, feel free to park in your garage and take a cab.

Get over your utterly unjustified victimization complex. Let me guess, you are also a Christian who feels persecuted because the bible isn’t taught in science classes as well…

As a Car2Go expert, I’m sure you are familiar with the fact that they ask you to “please make sure to know your city’s parking rules before making a trip.” And that if you violate that policy, you, as the driver who broke parking law, will be held accountable. They will also do everything in their power to assist the person who was inconvenienced by your violation of local parking law.

Hi Doc….I’m a Christian that isn’t upset at all about that point because it IS taught in most Science classes! God is the God of ALL things, including science…even ridicule raises questions, even those unspoken in the classroom by young inquiring minds.
