After facing 5 years in jail, police dash cam clears man and indicts cops instead

A New Jersey man has been cleared of all charges and avoided a 5-year prison sentence after dashboard video from a police cruiser revealed that cops falsified evidence against him.

Prosecutors dropped the charges against 30 year-old Marcus Jeter of Bloomfield New Jersey, and in turn indicted two Bloomfield police officers for falsifying reports – and one of them for assault – after a recording of the arrest surfaced.

The video show officers beating Jeter, including one punching him in the head repeatedly, even though he was clearly complying with their orders.

Before the tape was discovered, prosecutors were pushing for a 5-year prison sentence.

What have we come to? Police officers rape girls in their cars, beat men who are not resisting, and stand calmly and watch those men prosecuted on false charges. And in Washington, hate rules the Tea Party and they use their hate to draft laws that can only cause massive deaths among the very poor. And those laws are passing! What is happening? Is America simply becoming a state of the vicious rules and the cowed and frightened masses?

This is BS cops get away with this and much worse all the time they have killed ppl gotten away with it every time I wish law enforcement was trained to do the job if you are a cop and your sent to take training on how to be human maybe you shouldn’t be a cop in the first place! I’m not a fan of the police or the so called Justice System. All law enforcement need every 90 day to see a shrink outside of the department take that Minnesota Field Test that they give to check for mental illness and to check understanding of right and wrong. I can pretty much say 99% of these guys will no longer be on any force

This is incredible. And I hope these officers have to serve time. If we would treat them like all other criminals, maybe this would stop happening. Its people like this that are giving the good cops a bad name.

Yeah I know most cops are good cops BUT there seems to be a growing percentage of them that have lost perspective or any semblance of “serve and protect” as their duty.

All officers (in my opinion) should be charged with attempted murder. If any other person video’d a lie like this on another individual…they’d get life in prison.

All cops are POS because they ALL protect each other, including the bad ones. Until they stop protecting the POS cops, they’re ALL bad!!!!!

“Good cops” give themselves a bad name when they keep silent about the bad ones. And we all know how very, very often they do that.

Finally ….1 man redeemed . What about the others that have been put thru this. This is not anything new. Police have been victimizing people of color for decades and it is accepted. Makes me scared for my sons life. Smh . An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere!!!!

BigWill, I guess you didn’t read my post. Where I’ve been, it was a civilized world. I don’t know where you grew up, but that’s where I did, and this sudden law by hatred unnerves and frightens me. It’s new.

GroovyBear. He didn’t just get out of the car. One of the cops reached in and punched him in the head and then pulled him out of the car where he proceeded to beat the life out of the man.

This has been happening for decades… it was long long happening and it knows know political party lines… and obviously no race lines as well… this is plain police brutality and lack of morals and ethics… dash cams should be connected not just thorugh an SD Card or harddrive but immediately downloaded remotely at anytime and should be public record.

Wtf are you talking about. Stop trying to blame this on color. This happens all the time to every race

This country was founded on violence against the innocent. Return lands to the original occupants, make reparations for slavery, Japanese internment, profitable judicial-corrections arrangements, and that will be a good start.

It does not wonder that this is happen so often with the police, not only in America….
It´s the same with church/social work and Pedophiles…..it´s a workfield were you can get the closest to your prey, the same with sadists and the Police….
It´s a shame that the Police just like the church don´t acknowledge this systemic problem and face it to change it…..
