This Subway ad from 2013 seemed to predict Jared Fogle’s future

Jared Fogle has been outed as a disgusting sexual predator who would brag about his relations with young teenagers via email. He had been Subway’s spokesperson for a damn long time, touting the sandwiches as the reason he lost a ton of weight. Subway’s sandwiches are vile, and there’s nothing healthy about a Chicken Bacon Ranch sub.

Plus, Fogle had the charisma of a week-old Subway sandwich left on your kitchen counter. Fogle never made any sense as a spokesperson, and the “healthy” campaign never made any sense unless you were trying to trick people into eating your blech food because it was “good for you.”

Back in 2013, Subway released a Super Bowl ad in honor of Fogle’s 15 years at Subway — the same number of years, coincidentally, that he’s going away to prison for. It’s almost eerie looking at it now.

It’s important to remember that Fogle’s pedophilia is not his own fault. According to his lawyers, it was due to his diet.

Ban diets everywhere.
