Tuesday’s debate between Bill Nye the Science Guy and young earth creationist Ken Ham was an epic event, regardless of the controversy that surrounded it.
A lot of ground was covered in the discussion, with Ham mostly avoiding Nye’s points – seemingly demonstrating that he struggles with himself in regards to his own convictions. But within the 2 ½ hours, one moment truly stood out from the rest.
During a question and answer segment of the debate, the moderator asked the participants a simple question: “What, if anything, would ever change your mind?”
Both gave their answers, and it left no doubt as to who was representing science and who was representing mythology.
