Ever since President Trump declared victory in the War on Christmas, he’s been treating himself to quite a few rounds of golf before getting back the serious business of running the nation. But three days after tweeting “tomorrow it’s back to work in order to Make America Great Again,” Trump is still out hitting the links.
Trump’s visit to the golf course this Thursday marked his 87th day playing golf as president. Today is his 342nd day in office.
The timeline for Trump’s most golf outings is as follows:
On Christmas Day, Trump tweeted:
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas, then tomorrow it’s back to work in order to Make America Great Again (which is happening faster than anyone anticipated)!

The day after, CNN’s cameras captured Trump out on the golf course:

According to various reports, Trump was still golfing on Wednesday, but a truck was allegedly strategically placed to block cameras from capturing any footage.

The timing and position of the truck’s arrival prompted reporters to ask if law enforcement had intentionally parked the vehicle between the cameras and the president.
Therese Barbera, a spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department, told BuzzFeed News their office had not sent the truck, and the Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Not long after his golf outing, the president made an impromptu visit to a West Palm Beach fire station where he thanked first responders for their work before touting Republican tax cuts and his own legislative agenda.
“We have the all-time record for stopping ridiculous regulations and we’re very proud of that,” he said.
According to MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin, Thursday was the third day in a row that Trump has golfed after his “back to work” tweet. “There are no other events today on his public schedule,” Griffin tweeted.

All this begs the question: Do we really want Trump in the White House anyway?
