Trump makes General Electric CEO praise him with hole-in-one story

During a Thursday White House meeting with executives of some of the largest manufacturing companies in the world, President Trump pushed General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt to take part in a little bit of praise for the Dear Leader in full view of the press.

As Immelt was telling Trump how much he was looking forward to working with him, the President interjected, saying, “Jeff actually watched me make a hole in one, can you believe that?”

“Should you tell that story?” Trump said.

“We were trying to talk President Trump into doing the ‘The Apprentice’ — that was my assignment when we owned NBC,” Immelt said. “President Trump goes up to a par 3 on his course. He looks at the three of us and says, ‘You realize, of course, I’m the richest golfer in the world?’ … then gets a hole in one.”

“So I have to say, I’ve seen the magic before,” Immelt said, concluding his story.

“It’s crazy,” Trump said to the laughter in the room. “No, I actually said I was the best golfer of all the rich people, to be exact, and then I got a hole in one. It was sort of cool.”
