Mike Tyson was on a Canadian talk show this morning promoting his one-man show playing in Toronto, when a certain question dampened his mood a little.
In regards to Tyson’s hanging out with embattled Toronto mayor Rob Ford yesterday, CP24 host Nathan Downer started out with this riskily-conceived question:
“Some critics say that, ‘We know you’re a convicted rapist — this could actually hurt his campaign.’ How would you respond to that?”
Tyson, who served three years in prison after being convicted of rape in 1992, immediately got scary.
“Hey, I don’t know who said that,” Tyson responded. “You’re the only one I’ve heard say that. I don’t have no comment to that, because it’s negative and you’re being negative. I met the mayor. There’s nothing they can do about it.”
“You come across as a nice guy, but you’re really a piece of shit with that comment,” he continued. “F*ck you. That was a piece of sh*t comment.”
“We’re doing live TV here,” Downer said.
“I don’t care. What are you going to do about it?”
