VIDEO: Texas man is suing GOP lawmaker and her husband after months of workplace Tasings

After months of what he called “attacks” by a Taser, a Texas man is suing a GOP state lawmaker and her husband for mental duress suffered during his time as their employee.

“I was constantly looking behind my shoulder, distracted, couldn’t sleep,” Bradley Jones said to KHOU-TV. “I would even look behind my shower curtain at home.”

Jones filed a civil suit against state Rep. Patricia Harless and her husband Sam Harless, who are the owners of Fred Fincher Motors where Jones was employed for over three years. In the suit, Jones charges that Sam Harless provided other employees with a Taser — and then filmed them sneaking up behind Jones and zapping him with the device at various times over nine months. The videos were posted online but were subsequently taken down.

The lawsuit goes on to accuse the couple, as well as other employees, with assault and battery and “failure to provide a safe workplace.” Jones explained in the KHOU report that he did not quit his job immediately after the incidents because he was saving money to buy a house.
