Poker is a tough game. Sometimes, the worst scenarios you can think of are right there waiting to bite you in the rear end. This lesson is always most learned when a player decides to sit back and get cocky.
But if you ever do decide to get cocky, it better not happen if 96 year-old Jack Uri is sitting to your left. The video shows a hand from the 2013 World Series of Poker, where Uri and his opponent both flop a full house – problem is, Uri’s full house is better.
Unbeknownst to him, the other guy goads Uri into moving all his chips in. First, it seems like the old man is a little confused, but it turns out he was slow-playing his hand beautifully.
