Think tiny robots smaller than your fingernail that build things is mere science fiction? Think again.
SRI International, a government research institute, has created a small army of “micro-robots” that work in unison to build things on a small scale. These little guys are amazingly fast for their size, with speeds reaching the equivalent of just under Mach 1 for a human.
