You’ll love the way this brilliant illustrator passes time while on the train

Most of us make it through our daily commutes in another world, barely present and immune to our immediate surroundings. But a talented and brilliant illustrator has found a way to make his commute a little more interesting.

To pass the time, Bill Butcher (a.k.a. October Jones) likes to draw new heads for his fellow commuters.

Using the simple medium of sticky notes and colored pens, Jones draws the heads and matches them up with the bodies of various people on the train. But it’s the expressions on the cartoon faces that take his concept from good to great.

LOL That we could all find such a harmless way to enjoy ourselves. I’ve been on those trains when my fellow commuters went into the commute zone and ceased to function. I asked my friend what she was thinking about. She was startled at her sudden yank from the commute zone and she said, “Thinking about? What do you mean?” I was amused.
