Abstinence activist and unwed mother Bristol Palin is being sued for child support

Bristol Palin, abstinence activist and daughter of former Alaska governor Sara Palin, was sued for child support and joint custody of her newborn daughter.

According to WKYT, Kentucky Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer says he is the baby’s father after Palin announced that she was pregnant with her second child, and that the pregnancy was intentional.

Sailor Grace Palin was born on Decemeber 23rd. Meyer shared the news on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, “Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn’t be more proud of this little blessing.”

The lawsuit also stipulates that Meyer should be allowed to list the girl as a dependent on his income tax returns in alternating years. Palin’s mother quickly denounced Meyer’s lawsuit as his attempt to “save face.”

“For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol’s pregnancy or the baby,” Sara Palin said.

The younger Palin’s representative also released a statement to Entertainment Tonight saying, “My values are such that a real American hero doesn’t ask for child support.”
