After corrective surgery, formerly blind dog goes nuts when loved ones are there to greet him

Duffy, an Irish Terrier from Pennsylvania, had severe diabetes and as a result, went blind. His family was finally able to get him corrective surgery for his eyes after getting his diabetes stabilized.

According to the poster on YouTube, this was the first time Duffy had laid eyes on anyone since his surgery.

This is my Irish Terrier Duffy. He’s a rescue dog and he’s had a lot of struggles with his health. He developed diabetes and lost his eyesight. With medication we got his diabetes stable and he qualified for eye surgery to give him back his sight. Here he is seeing my parents for the first time in months.

His reaction is quite a tearjerker.
