Republican messaging on China’s culpability for the coronavirus outbreak seems to be working, according to a new Morning Consult poll that was published this Friday showing that 73 percent of U.S. now believe the Chinese government bears at least some responsibility for the outbreak.
According to the survey, China is the most blamed culprit when it comes to Republicans, while it ranks fourth for Democrats.
According to the survey, Republicans were also head of the pack when it comes to blaming science and the medical community, with 44 percent blaming the scientific community, 29 percent blaming doctors and medical professionals, and a whopping 65 percent blaming the World Health Organization (WHO).
