In a video that was recorded in South Carolina, a man got confrontational with a camera crew who were apparently recording a bank building for their TikTok channel and called the police. But when the police showed up, he was quickly informed that his anger was just wasted energy.
The video starts out with the man admonishing the crew for taking video of his car and himself without “permission.” After words are exchanged, the video cuts to the man on the phone with the police, describing one member of the crew as a “Black gentleman with a Black Lives Matter” insignia in his shirt.
Later in the video, an officer from the Anderson Police Department arrives on the scene and calmly explains to the man that it’s “perfectly legal” for the crew to the film and it’s their “First Amendment right.” The man then tries to argue that the crew in on “private property,” but the officer reminds them that it’s “public.”
The man later becomes increasingly agitated and tells the crew member, “I can knock you out right now.”
