During an appearance on podcaster Tim Pool’s Timcast show, conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter continued her long-public critique of Donald Trump, this time giving her thoughts on the former president’s intellectual prowess.
According to Coulter, people who say Trump was at least smart enough to fashion a successful a reality TV persona for himself are giving him more credit than he deserves.
“The one thing I didn’t know when I wrote In Trump We Trust is how profoundly stupid he is,” Coulter said, referring the best-selling book she wrote in her Trump supporting days.
“I made very clear in the book, the only thing he could do — we would forgive him for anything, and I defended him the day after the Access Hollywood p***y-grabbing tape came out … And I said, we’ll forgive him for anything unless you betray us on immigration. Oh, and guess what he did.”
